Details for Vivid Sydney 2011 – Coming Soon

From end of May across the first half of June, Sydney goes vivid with lights, music, theatre, design, fashion and everything else that can make a city come alive!

This year Vivid Sydney Festival will be masterminded by the curator duo, Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson.

During this luminous festival, the sails of the Sydney Opera House transform into a beautiful canvas where creative minds paint their visions in light! 2009 Vivid Sydney saw the amazing handiwork of Brian Eno transforming the Opera House into a series of breathtaking colourful images!

From June 11 to 14, 2010, the Rocks Fire Water will light up Campbell's Cove with fire sculptures and light installations on tall ships to evoke memories of the heroic voyage of the Sydney Cove to Sydney from Calcutta in 1797. Billows of colourful smoke will rise up suggestive of Holi, the Indian festival of colours!

Watch the city skyline as Sydney lights up as never before! Board a Sydney Showboat Dinner Cruise to enjoy the play of colourful images on the iconic sails! Enjoy the beautiful spectacle of fire on water and explosions of colourful smoke! Devour the delicious a la carte while enjoying the spectacular live cabaret on board!
