Vivid Sydney Dinner Cruise 2012
From May 25 to June 11, 2012, Sydney goes vivid with lights, music, theatre, design, fashion and everything else that can make a city come alive!
Watch the city skyline as Sydney lights up like never before. In 2011 “Lighting the Sails” was masterminded by the French based digital projection artists Superbien. The sails of Sydney Opera House were transformed into a beautiful canvas where creative minds painted their visions in light!
In 2010, Vivid Sydney saw the amazing handiwork of the curator duo, Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson, transforming the iconic sails into a series of breathtaking colourful images!
In 2011, Campbell's Cove in the Rocks held the world’s biggest and most incredible campfire, Fire Dance, with flames choreographed to music. The Cove burst into dancing flames five times every night of Vivid Sydney, with flames rising higher than a three-storey house. It was an incredible spectacle from the water.
In previous year, there were also more than 40 spectacular light installations throughout Circular Quay – amazing works of art by various local and international artists.
