When does it depart?
The Showboat Vivid Sydney cruise departs at 7:30 pm for the best views of the light installations after sunset. Boarding starts half-an-hour prior to departure.
How long is the Vivid Sydney cruise?
The cruise runs for approximately 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy dinner, watch the live cabaret performance and take in the spectacular festival.
What will I see on the cruise?
As the vessel glides across the harbour, you’ll see colorful projections and installations illuminating Sydney’s most famous landmarks, including the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, along with the foreshore light installations.
Do I have to remain seated at all times?
No. While dinner and the cabaret show are enjoyed from your reserved table, guests are welcome to step out onto the deck during the cruise to take photos and enjoy the Vivid Sydney lights from different vantage points.

We wanted to see vivid lights around Sydney harbour and there’s no doubt the Showboat had it all from excellent service, etiquette, wonderful cabaret performance and accompanied by 3 course meals. Really enjoyed our time together and we will definitely come back next time.
